    China Financial Index: Northern European companies bullish

    Our supporter SEB just recently published for the fifth time their China Financial Index, a report where a number of Scandinavian and German companies are asked about their plans for their companies in China during the coming year. In short the report shows that the companies has a strong belief in growing their business in China during 2011.

    Half of the companies in the report say that they will increase their investments during the year and one third says that the investments will be major. At the same time nine out of 10 companies says they will hire new staff and two out of 10 says that they will increase the number of employees considerably.

    Problems highlighted by the companies in the report are increasing cost for raw material, difficulties to find qualified staff and the fact that China is a very competitive market.
