As you can see the Benche has a new look today and also has some new features and forums. The idea with this "reconstruction" of the Benche has been to make the site a bit more "airy", that is make it easier to view and thus increase the readability. And we also wanted to emphasize that the Benche is a place for discussion between members, hence we have now placed the latest forum posts in the middle of the site, focusing on what you, the members, are doing on the Benche.
But we have also added a new functionality to the Benche. As a member you can now create your own discussion groups where the creator of the group decides the topic and also moderates the discussion. A group can be open for any member or the owner of the group can decide who will be allowed to participate. The idea is that members can set up a forum around their own topic, even a topic that maybe is only vaguely related to Trade, Cash and Custody (as long as they are in line with the terms & conditions of the Benche). There is one requirement though: the language used in the groups has to be English.
We also has a new Forum on the Benche - "Members Area". Here you can find the old forums "Lounge" and "Travel & Social", but also "Ask the Benche" and "Jobs". Yes, after some discussion with some members we have also now added the possibility to post job opportunities. If you are a looking to hire staff or if you are a professional within trade, cash or custody are looking for some new possibilities this is the forum for you. .
In addition to this there is also a new navigation bar at the top of the side. You will now see a notification badge at the top bar whenever someone has made a post you are involved in or you have revceived a new private message.
All in all we hope you will find the new Benche to be more convenient to use and give you as a member more opportunities to "learn, share and discuss" with your peers. And of course your feedback is always very welcome!
