Greetings from Nordic Back Office 2012, Helsinki

The Nordic Back Office event has been taken place annually in Helsinki over the last 16 years. It has become the yearly gathering place for Nordic clearing and settlement colleges together with professionals within custody and compliance services. Annual visitors have been spoilt with high profile speakers including EU experts, local politicians, members of bank authority, professionals of all leading Nordic banks and many more.

The first day will be held in English and kicks off at 08.30. Chairman will be Göran Fors, Global Head of GTS Banks at SEB.

First topic tomorrow will be how the securities markets are changing globally and in Europe? by Yannic Weber, CEO, Euroclear Sweden & Euroclear Finland. Followed by T2S – borderless securities settlement for Europe by Helmut Wacket, Section Head, Target 2 Securities Team, European Central Bank.
