Experiences exporting to Bhutan

If anyone has any experiences in doing business in Bhutan, mainly concerning export to the country, payment methods, regulations, good banks, possibility to confirm LCs etc I would appreciate if you could share it with me.

I have during my 4 years in the Trade industry only seen Bhutan once. But I think I can answer one of your questions.. Payment method should probably be L/C.

Banks preferred in Bhutan are: bhutannationalbank.com and Bank of Bhutan. Also, IFC can be of help as they have these two banks on their list. Have seen an increasing interest in Bhutan during 2010. All transactions (L/C) has worked out well without any problem.
