    Hi,

When thinking about Cash Management, what do you think is the "trend" for this year or the near future? Is it still Working Capital that leads the discussions or do you see other topics / needs emerging or bubbling under?

In order to grant credits banks need more money and in Europe the funds are even more harder to be found, and this of course reflects directly to companies in need of financing. A German CEO stated in FT a while back that "The best way to finance yourself is trough excellent cash management".

    Your thoughts?

Well, regulation is one thing that will drive the discussion and activity around Europe esp in form of SEPA end date, that's for sure.

I do think that cash management will continue to be a hot topic the coming years tightly connected to the financing needs of a company. Banks and other financial institutions will require more and more collateral to extend credit lines to companies. I think this will drive companies to more efficiently use the existing cash flow and also the balance sheet, for example receivables financing.
