Swift for Corporates

Read Paula da Silva's article re swiftnet and have myself noted a big difference between US Corporates and Nordic Corporates approaching this. In the US this is a very hot topic and here (in the Nordics) is not - how come?

Why is it a hot topic in the US? What is it the corporates like about swiftnet? Just curious.

I believe, bankindependence and global approach has a major part of it. Why isn't the Nordic corporates on top of this?
